Bangalore is fondly referred to as " The Garden City of India".

Lal Bagh Gardens

oldest museum and houses several antiques and archaeological objects.
- This park was laid out by Lieutenant
General Sir Mark Cubbon in 1864. The park is spread in an area of 250 acres
and also hosts a children's amusement park, a doll museum and a toy train

the Wodeyar dynasty. The wood carving is excellent here. The entire
structure is built in Tudor-style architecture.
- Bangalore's best-known landmark,
the Vidhana Soudha houses the Legislative Chambers of the State Government.
This 46-metre high edifice was built almost entirely of granite and is a
masterpiece of temple architecture.
